Dave Gandy

Since 2006, Dave Gandy has worked as Grants and Contracts Manager at the Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU), Bangkok, Thailand. Holder of an MSc in Development Management from Open University, UK, Dave’s work focus is grants support and research administration. Dave leads a team of six staff who strive to support world leading researchers with grant applications and the management and implementation of research contracts focused on global health research on subjects including malaria, maternal and child health, antimicrobial resistance, neglected tropical diseases and intensive care medicine in LMICs. Prior to working for MORU, Dave worked as a Fundraiser and Grants Manager for NGOs including ActionAid and undertook a donor mapping consultancy for Oxfam-GB and VSO across south-east Asia.
