Health GeoLab
The Health GeoLab (HGL) was established in the MORU in April 2022 with the vision of low- and middle-income countries in Asia and the Pacific to fully benefit from geospatial data and technologies to achieve the health-related Sustainable Development Goal of healthy lives and well-being for all (SDG 3).
To reach this vision, the HGL aims to strengthen and sustain the technical capacity of the health sector in countries in the Region in the management and use of geospatial data and technologies.
The work of the HGL is organized around the following three entities and activities:

The Health GeoLab Secretariat (HGL-S) Secretariat for the Health GeoLab Hub and Network, leading country technical support and assistance as well as contributing to the technical aspects of the Health GeoLab Hub's activities. |

Regional hub supporting the management and use of geospatial data and technologies in public health and promoting the implementation of the HIS geo-enabling framework in the Region. |

The Health GeoLab Network (HGL-N) Forum to exchange expertise, experience and knowledge between the Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world on the management and use of geospatial data and technologies in public health. |
