Networks and consortia Epidemiology

GroupMappers voluntarily contributes to collecting and integrating geospatial data for communicable disease control in Bangladesh. Comprising volunteer members with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from different companies, universities, colleges and other organizations in Bangladesh and the Department of Disease Control, Directorate General of Health Services in Bangladesh. GroupMappers is organised by MORU Epidemiology.

The mission of the Health GeoLab Collaborative is to facilitate the implementation of the HIS geo-enabling framework across low and middle income countries in Asia and the Pacific for them to fully benefit from the power of geography, geospatial data, and technologies.

The Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network( APMEN) is a network of 20 Asia Pacific countries that are pursuing malaria elimination, as well leaders and experts from key multilateral and academic agencies. The Network's mission is to support the achievement of a malaria-free Asia Pacific. MORU Epidemiology hosts the APMEN Surveillance and Response Working Group (SRWG).

COVID-19 Clinical Research Coalition

The shared goal of coalition members from around the world is to ensure that people in resource-limited regions – primarily in Africa, Asia, and Latin America – receive the benefits of scientific advances in new treatments, diagnostics, and vaccines for COVID-19, and that scientists in these regions lead a research response driven by the priorities in these settings.

Roll Back Malaria Surveillance, Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group

The purpose of the Roll Back Malaria Surveillance, Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group (SMERG) is to facilitate alignment of partners on strategies and best practices for developing effective systems to implement malaria surveillance and monitor and evaluate malaria control programmes. It also identifies emerging research questions and needs related to the implementation of surveillance, monitoring, and evaluation (SME) initiatives and communicates these to appropriate partners.

Richard Maude is Co-Chair of the SMERG Community Health Committee.

UNICEF Digital Health Center of Excellence (DICE) supports national governments to develop and improve digital health systems.
